GALLERY: MAPIU HONDA KIDS CAMP WATERSLIDE

The final Honda Kids Camp of 2021 took place at Mapiu, in the middle of the stunning Kind Country. A perfect way to sign off another year of Kids Camps.

Like all the Honda Kids Camps, each venue has something that little bit special that makes it worthwhile to attend all three.

The first camp of the year, Lake Rotoiti is set beside the stunning Lake of the same name. There is nothing better than hitting the trails all day, followed by a dip in the refreshing lake in the heat of the afternoon.

The second venue for 2021 saw Lochinvar Station set an incredible scene with its endless rolling paddocks and wide-open spaces. The huge woolshed is home to the Talent Quest, where campers from all over the country put on a show on Friday evening.

And finally, for 2021, Mapiu gave campers views like nothing else as the Airstrip Camp Ground looked out across the valley to the right and cliffs to the left. And when the tracks shut at 4 pm, the water slide makes this venue even more a one-of-a-kind place.

With new venues on the cards for next year, keep an eye out for the 2022 dates of the Honda Kids Camps.
