Kris Keefer is back again with some new maps for the 2024-25 Yamaha YZ250F that he thinks will give the YZ just what it needs.

Unfortunately, getting my hands on some Yamaha dirt bikes to test is like trying to pass Vince Friese - seemingly impossible. So I have hooked into the knowledge of Pulp MX Co-Host, factory bike tester and lead tester at Keefer INC Testing, Kris Keefer to get some info on the Yamaha YZ250F.

“This map will help engine de-cel feel (engine braking) as well as increase rear wheel traction out of corners with slightly less quick revving spool up. If you prefer a little more traction out of this map on late afternoon motos, turn the TC up to LOW (start with TC OFF) and this will increase rear end connection on intermediate to hard terrain surfaces.”
